The Somber Sea
A downloadable game for Windows
Small free game created in a week for the 1-BIT JAM game jam, using only two colors.
The Somber Sea is a chill, slow exploration game with some slightly creepy undertones, and a lot of secrets.
The game is not easy. There's a lot of exploration and trial and error required. It's designed as the kind of games I used to love as a kid, where you'd pick up pen and paper, discover things progressively, chart out your own maps, plan out your gameplay and learn with every Game Over.
If that sounds fun to you, give it a try. Thank you!
There's also a PNG full-map of the world available for download, to use as reference. This map omits item locations and other details/spoilers. Feel free to use it if you need a little help!
Anyway, I'm gonna go sleep now. Good night!
